Specialized Services for Children and Youth renovated the old Christie building on Notre Dame Ave. A covered sidewalk and parking stalls were added to provide a comfortable way to get in and out of the building.
Multiple rolled canopies of varying sizes and heights were constructed of HSS and channels which were galvanized for sustainability. These were used to provide covered parking stalls.
Over the sidewalks, channel frames were connected to existing columns. These were covered with a continuous 3/16 x 6’-0 wide galvanized plate.
When all lined up and complete these canopies covered over 450’-0 of the front of the existing building.
